Japan's Aversion Towards Sex Leads to Dreadful Consequences, Warns News Analyst

Japan's cultural aversion towards sex that is causing its population to rapidly age should put other societies on guard, Portland SEO's Augusto Beato noted.

"If people could no longer use the word 'penis' or 'vagina,' and if any expression of knowledge or interest in sex is seen as loathsome, then society is experiencing a strange phenomenon," notes Beato, a news analyst who may be reached through the Portland SEO website through this link.

"Is it because of Japan's multibillion-dollar porn industry that sex is seen as dirty and corrupting in Japan," Beato wonders.

Kukhee Choo, who teaches media studies at Tokyo's Sophia University pointed out that some people are in sexless relationships, while others avoid relationships as a way to avoid having sex.

Consequently, around one of four Japanese adults who are in their 20s and 30s remain virgins, according to a study by the University of Tokyo.

The University of Tokyo's public health experts also revealed that there is an increase in the number of Japanese between ages 18 to 39 who never had sex rising. It rose from 21.7 percent in 1992 to 24.6 percent in 2015 among women, and from 20 percent in 1992 to 25.8 percent in 2015 among men.

Japan's birth rate has become a big national issue due to its rapidly aging population. Over 20 percent of Japanese is over 65 years old, making it a "super-aged" country.

Only 946,060 Japanese babies were born in 2017, the country's lowest since they began officially recording the birth rates in 1899.

As a consequence, the country’s aversion towards sex, there is a shrinking number of workers that are left supporting an increasingly aging population who require health care and pensions.
