Amazon’s Marketplace Facilitator Tax (MFT) Now Reported In ManageByStats

Today ManageByStats reported they have added reporting for Amazon’s Marketplace Facilitator Tax, or MFT. The list of states requiring Amazon to collect and remit taxes on behalf of 3rd-party Sellers is growing, and participating states will likely continue to be added. As the marketplace facilitator, Amazon is responsible for calculating, collecting and remitting taxes on sales sold by third party sellers for transactions destined to states where Marketplace Facilitator and/or Marketplace collection legislation is enacted. ManageByStats is a suite of software tools for Amazon 3rd-party Sellers, and as such collects and reports information from Amazon. The MFT is now being reported.

MFT info is broken out under the Customers section in ManageByStats, in the sub-menu item called Geo Analyze. MFT info is included in other reporting, and factored into things like Profit, ROI and Margin, but can now be visualized in state-by-state reporting.
