Scottsdale Golf Club Announces Family Membership Packages

A popular Scottsdale Golf Club has announced a wide range of family based membership packages for those living in and around the Scottsdale, Arizona area. The country club states that they have multiple membership packages available to meet the needs of all of their members.

Melanie Halpert, a representative for the country club, says, “We offer four different membership packages for families, couples and individuals. We are proud of our exceptional members and just wanted to let everyone know that they do not have to own property in DC Ranch in order to join the Country Club. Our membership is not tied to real estate.”

Halpert states that golf memberships are available for those who love the sport. These memberships include unlimited privileges on the golf course, as well as use of the practice facilities for members and their families. Golf memberships also include use of the social facilities, the clubhouse, fitness room, tennis courts and swimming pool at The Country Club at DC Ranch.

Other memberships at the country club include a Junior Golf Membership, which is designed for families and singles ages 21 through 39. This membership includes a reduced initiation fee that can be paid over a term of four years and also allows the member to access all of the social facilities and other amenities, including the tennis courts, clubhouse and fitness room.

A Sport Social membership package provides unlimited tee times and guest privileges for members from June through December. Those playing from January through May will receive no more than six rounds of play for each family member. Sport Social members pay reduced fees for each round of golf plus their cart fee. This membership also includes a number of amenities in the clubhouse and other activities.

Halpert says that a popular membership package is the Clubhouse membership, which includes a variety of activities, as well as access to the swimming pool, tennis courts and fitness room. This package is designed for those who do not play golf, as it does not include green access, but who prefer to swim, play tennis and engage in other activities.

Halpert says that anyone joining also receives family privileges, which allows them to bring along their family members, including their spouse and any unmarried children who are under 24 years of age. She says that this is a perk that many country clubs do not include. Members have full access to what their membership provides, and their family members can utilize all of the facilities that are also covered in membership, without any additional fees.

Halpert says that another unique perk of membership is that the club allows for market-base pricing for golf memberships. This means that members can set the selling prices for their memberships based on what they want to receive from the membership and what others are willing to pay for it. She states that any member who wishes to sell their membership privileges to another has full rights to do so, provided they can find a suitable buyer.
