Phoenix, Ariz. - During the month of December, one of the leading temp agencies in Phoenix, AZ helped give the gift of employment by participating in Express Employment Professionals' “Pay It Forward” holiday hiring drive. With the objective in mind to make sure as many people as possible can earn a paycheck in time for the holidays, the staffing agency continued their commitment to recruiting, screening and placing only the most qualified candidates in an effort to further serve their community.

As being out of work during the holidays can be particularly disheartening, the agency had a goal to place a total of 75 job seekers in different opportunities throughout the local area. The proficient and successful staffing agency exceeded their goal by placing over 90 job seekers into positions over the course of the Pay it Forward campaign.

Additionally, with every job seeker placed accompanied a $5 donation to Saint Mary’s Food Bank. St. Mary’s Food Bank is a community-based organization. Individual donors, corporate donors, and private grants help feed hungry individuals and families in the area. Serving two-thirds of Arizona’s 13 counties, they are committed to volunteerism, building community relationships and improving the quality of life for Arizonans in need. Due to their impressive commitment to the cause, the Express office was able to donate $450 to the organization at the conclusion of the hiring drive.

At Express in South Phoenix, we are committed to giving back to the community. Our Pay it Forward program is a way for us to put people back to work during the holiday season and contribute to a well-deserving non-profit organization in the Phoenix area. We appreciate our hard-working associates and our client companies who make this possible,” stated Franchise Owner Daria Buss.
