Arrowhead Clinic, a chiropractic clinic based in Atlanta, GA, has announced that their latest blog post is about preventing low back pain for runners. In the article titled, “The 4 Keys To Preventing Low Back Pain For Runners,” the Atlanta car accident chiropractors present the reasons for low back pain while running and four ways to prevent low back pain while running.

The blog post points out that the various reasons for a person suffering from lower back pain during or after running include the presence of pre-existing conditions, joint sprain, and weak supporting muscles. The types of pre-existing conditions include sciatica and herniated disc. With regards to joint sprain, the specific type is sacroiliac joint sprain. The sacroiliac joint is that place where the lower back and the hips meet and this joint is made up of tendons, muscles, ligaments, and cartilage, and bone. And then the muscles that need to support running are the core muscles, glutes and hamstrings. When these areas are not stable, the back muscles try to compensate and handle most of the force.

Johnny Brown, spokesperson for Arrowhead Clinic, says, “There are four ways to prevent lower back pain while running. First, you need to strengthen your hamstrings, core, hips, and glutes. Second, you must wear supportive running shoes or buy supportive insoles. Third, do cross-training. And finally, make sure to use proper running form.”

At Arrowhead Clinic, the doctors and chiropractors are focused on providing treatment for personal injury and pain. Primarily, their patients are victims of auto/truck accidents although they will accept other kinds of patients, such as those who have sciatica or herniated discs. Furthermore, they also specialize in treating sports injuries.

Meanwhile, with regards to the quality of their services, this has been attested to by the many reviews the chiropractic clinic has already received. In fact, they have highlighted a new review in one of their recently published press releases. In this five star review, Princess M. said, "... They are very attentive and dedicated in making sure your needs are taken care of. They also make sure to accommodate with your schedule, that's a plus. Every staff member of this clinic makes you feel comfortable and well taken care of. The doctor is absolutely the best. If you need chiropractic care, this is the place to be."

In another five star review, Sabrina M said, “Dr T. and staff are very friendly. I come in with many questions and no matter what I ask they are sure to give me feedback and make sure all my questions are answered. This is my second time here and I have no complaints at all. This is the only clinic I will ever use for this care. Thanks so much, feeling better. They are just awesome.”
