Telus Offers Alcatel A30 For $0 Upfront

Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta based Telus/Cambridge Electronics Incorporated is pleased to announce that its existing customers can get a brand new Alcatel A30 $0 upfront by simply adding 2GB of shareable data for only $10/month.

This special promotion is available for a limited time only as part of the Telus Black Friday Deals. For Alberta and British Columbia customers, use this offer towards Mobility activation and get to enjoy an additional 1GB of data bonus through M&H Perks.

Telus is currently offering this promotion to customers who have an existing Mobility postpaid phone plan with shareable data and a 2 year term subscription to the $10 Tablet Share with 2GB shareable data plan as a secondary subscriber. Eligible customers shall agree to commit in adding 2GB of shareable data on top of their plan, for additional $10/month, with a lock-in period of 2 years. The existing user account must also be in good credit standing and is under Telus’s Consumer account. Moreover, the additional 1GB M&H perk is only limited to subscribers located in Alberta and British Columbia. The Alcatel A30 sports an 8” TFT WXVGA (1024x600) display with thin borders which allows its users to maximize their reading, watching and gaming experiences. Swift and smooth performance is assured by its 1.1 GHz Quad-Core processor and 2 GB of RAM. The device is also packed with a 4000mAh battery that can last 800 hours of standby time and 5MP front and rear (with built-in LED flash) cameras for mobile photo and video needs. It also has a built-in memory of 16GB and a microSD memory card slot that is expandable up to 128GB. “The Alcatel A30 is a solid 8-inch Android tablet especially if you need cellular connectivity,” says Ajay Kumar, mobile analyst at PCMag. That statement seems to be true since it is great to see a tablet in this device range that is able to route GSM, LTE, 3G and 4G network connectivity. Out of the box, the Alcatel A30 comes with a travel charger, a USB cable and a set of documentation.

Customers who plan to avail of the promotion must take note that only one data option is required per account. However, that data can be shared with up to 4 additional devices; including tablets. To successfully do data sharing, another subscriber on the account must be a “primary subscriber” with either a Telus Mobility postpaid phone plan with shareable data or a Mobility Postpaid phone plan with a data add-on. Customers must also take note that taxes and pay-per-use charges (including additional data and roaming) will be charged as extras. Additional used data is rounded up each session to the closest KB (1 GB = 1,024 MB; 1 MB = 1,024 KB) and is subject to a monthly overage limit of 5 GB.
