The Institute of Wedding and Event Design Announces Wedding Planner Career Assistance

IWED Global is happy to announce their wedding and event planner career assistance programs and services. The Institute of Wedding and Event Design is an education company that has been in the business of teaching wedding and event planners the inner workings of the industry for over 25 years. Students of IWED learn the skills necessary to successfully plan events of all sizes, including weddings. Additionally, IWED teaches their students how to run and operate their own wedding and event planning business if they don’t want to work for an agency.

When approached about this announcement, the founder of the Institute of Wedding and Event Design had this to say, “For anyone that has thrown a large event or a wedding of any size, they already know that planning is an undertaking. If you don’t have proper training and knowledge of planning, you are going to miss something. Chances are, you are going to miss a lot of little somethings. At IWED, we make sure this doesn’t happen by providing a proper education with the skills of event planning.

Classes can be taken live in Deerfield Beach, Florida or students can choose the online experience. Additionally, there are specific classes for decor and floral arrangements if event planners want to improve a specific aspect of their planning skills. IWED shares many blog posts with their students to help them advance their careers beyond the classes. Institute of Wedding and Event Design also has classes that go on tour to major cities. Some cities include Boston, Dallas, New Orleans, and New York City. Classes span 5 days and the planner leaves the program with a certificate of accreditation. IWED also offer payment plans to make the classes more affordable.

Once planners have completed the Event Design course with IWED, they have the option to complete the Event Design Master Certification Program. Institute of Wedding and Event Design partnered with the North American Academy of Wedding and Event Planning to offer an advanced degree program that awards the graduate with the title of Master Level Accredited Event Designer.
