Perseverance Pest Control in Fishers, Indiana has announced that they are offering bed bug extermination services. The company states that bed bugs are becoming a huge problem in many cities in the nation and they state that because these bugs have no natural predator, they are very difficult to eradicate.

A representative for the company says, “Nine times out of ten, home remedies and over the counter products are not going to work on bed bugs. These little critters can multiply fast and before you know it, they have invaded your beds, your furniture, your clothes, and they can even penetrate your walls.”

The company states that in 2018, more than 90 percent of pest control companies in the United States claimed to have treated at least one household for bed bugs. Most companies agree that summer is the best time for treating these pests as they are more inclined to be eliminated using heat, but the representative for the pest control company says that any time is the right time for treatment once the consumer learns that they have bed bugs.

“You don’t want to wait,” the representative says. “Again, these little things multiply quickly so if you see one or you see the signs of having an infestation, now is the time to call a pest control specialist, no matter what time of year it is. You want to get the problem handled as quickly as possible.”

The bed bug exterminator says that bed bugs can be found virtually anywhere fabric type materials are found. They typically hide under and around mattresses but can also infest living room furniture, stuffed animals, purses, books, and they can be found in any structure such as a car, bus, motel, airplane and just about anywhere else. The company says that because they are so difficult to control, many people carry them home from motels and even clothing stores. Many news reports have shown bed bugs in images taken from clothing hanging on racks at Walmart and other stores. The company says that the bed bug epidemic is alive and well and that professional assistance will be needed in order to ensure that these bugs are eliminated and that the consumer does not carry them off to other places.

Most consumers notice bites on their arms and legs before they realize that they have bed bugs. Many call pest control companies to determine the reason for the bites and it is often the pest control company that confirms that bed bugs are evident. The Indiana pest control company says that many consumers are unaware of what to do once bed bugs have been found and they state that the internet has given many consumers false hope with regards to killing those bugs off by themselves.

The company says that consumers can attempt to treat their homes themselves but says that this do-it-yourself type treatment must be diligent and that many consumers give up before they completely eradicate the bugs. Often, depending on the level of infestation, multiple treatments may be needed to get to every last bed bug. The company says that consumers may spray chemicals, vacuum or even steam their furniture once or twice but says that they typically tire of the actions long before the bed bugs have been killed off.

The pest control company representative says that they have professional grade treatments that could eradicate bed bugs much more quickly and easily than anything that consumers can find online or in stores. He states that in the company’s experience, most consumers are not able to eradicate their bed bug problem with the products that they find over the counter and that while there are some effective products that are currently being sold, consumers have to know how to effectively treat their homes in order to reach every last bug. Leaving just one bug alive could lead to a full infestation again in just a few weeks.

The company says that anyone in the Indianapolis area who feels that they may have bed bugs should contact them immediately in order to get the elimination process started. They state that no one is immune to bringing these bugs into their homes in light of the recent epidemic and state that consumers can contact them directly for an inspection and service quote or visit them online at http://ppc-indy.com/service-areas/fishers to learn more about bed bugs and the recent epidemic. Those interested can also learn about other pest control services offered by the company on their official website.
