ManageByStats’ Keywords Tool Now Shows Amazon ASINs In Results

ManageByStats has announced a new feature for their Keywords tool. The new feature is a Rank ASIN column, which shows the ASIN being evaluated, which can be valuable if the list of results shows both Parent and Child ASINs. “ASIN” stands for Amazon Standard Identification Number, and is Amazon’s unique product identification code. Each product sold on Amazon has its own unique ASIN, and variations of products are often assigned their own unique ASIN as well, which are called Child ASINs.

“We’ve had the ability to evaluate keywords for both Parent and Child ASINs,” says CEO of ManageByStats, Philip Jepsen. “But if the user chose to group them together, there was no clear way to see which results were for Parent or Child. We now have the ability to make that distinction clearly.”

The MBS Keywords tracker provides detailed daily data and trends on keyword rank for any product. It also tracks BSR, Reviews, Stars, and Price, presenting an easy way for these to be compared, which is useful for analyzing and optimizing product performance. Child ASINs can be entered and tracked separately, but with this new feature users can now create a single entry, if desired, and see the breakout of each ASIN within it.

“Knowing your ranking for keywords is critical,” says Mister Jepsen. “Customers use keywords to search for products to buy, and when they’re looking for the keywords related to your product, you want to be the one that comes up near the top of the list. Our Keywords tool helps you do that, and this new feature will make it even easier to see how you’re doing for each of your variations.”
