Portland SEO's Augusto Beato advised future workers to train for non-routine tasks to avoid being rendered irrelevant by AI.

Beato was reacting on the prevalent view that about 50 percent of jobs in the would be lost to robots since AI does a better job for an almost marginal cost.
This view is supported by Oxford University researchers Carl Frey and Michael Osborne who believe that 47 percent of all U.S. workers have a "high probability" of losing their jobs to AI over the next two decades.
Beato pointed out that any job which requires human expertise, human insight, the "human touch" and creative inputs and touch, will never be taken over by machines.
"Robots are great for processing large volumes of data and complex mathematical problems in instantaneously carrying out multiple tasks. But machines cannot establish human connections, empathize or reacting quickly in unfamiliar situations," insists Beato, who is the CEO of Portland SEO.
