London X City Reports On The “Top 10 Worst Chat Up Lines Guys Use On Girls”

Popular online magazine, London X City, has announced the release of a new article aimed at the singles scene. The magazine says that their latest article on "Top 10 Worst Chat Up Lines Guys Use On Girls" is now live and viewable on their website.

Chloe, a spokesperson for the online magazine, says, "We try to publish interesting articles that people will enjoy reading. We thought that chat up lines were a great way to pique the attention of our female, and even our male, single readers. "People can be so crass in general," says Chloe. "Some of the lines that men would use on women are utterly ridiculous and border on sexual harassment. Chloe says that the lines contain things like, "Is your dad a terrorist?" and she says that while jokes are good and all, there are some jokes that are not funny and this one happens to be one of them. Of course, the age old, "Are you tired? Because you've been running through my mind all night" and other similarly funny lines are included, as well. The staff at London X City says that while some of these lines are designed to be clever, they mostly come across as sleazy and the magazine jokingly states that their staff are forbidden from using many of these lines.

"We just don't want people to think our staff is that crass," says Chloe.

Chat up lines have been around for centuries and are not likely to go anywhere anytime soon. The magazine says that while they fully understand that singles are going to use such language in order to break the ice, they wanted to publish the article in a means of letting women know that some of these not so hilarious lines are still in circulation today, even though they may have been around since the ice age, and Chloe says that women are not any more impressed with them today than they were in the past.

She says that men should really learn better means of breaking the ice than using old pick up lines that have been proven to be ineffective. The magazine article makes light of the chat up lines and encourages women not listen to them. "My place or yours?" is a line that has been used since the 1950s and is apparently still in circulation today as it made the number nine spot on the magazine's top 10 list. Chloe says that readers may be surprised at some of the other lines that are still being used and says that men need to realize that women are much smarter than to listen to these lines; most women, anyway.

The online magazine says that while the article was done with entertainment in mind, it does bear repeating that women should never allow men to put them into situations that make them feel uncomfortable. Chloe says that the top 10 list is fun to read but women should understand that these lines are just that; lines. She says that dating is difficult enough today without women having to worry about whether or not men are using cheesy pick up lines to get their attention.
