Telus/Cambridge Electronics Incorporated, a store based in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada, specializing in cellular phones and other personal communication devices, recently announced their use of the new Telus Virtual Assistant in the fourth quarter. The store's staff comments that the virtual assistant's use will be a great help to them with the upcoming holiday season approaching, especially in conjunction with the store's local staff.
Launched in February 2018, the Telus Virtual Assistant has been touted as one of the first support systems of its kind in the personal communication space in Canada. It is a 24/7 interactive chatbot that is programmed to quickly answer customer questions, perform simple account transactions, and provide advice to optimize customers' home and mobile service.
"Q4 is always a busy time in our call centers and our stores. The holidays are just around the corner and people will be clamoring to get the latest devices on the market," Dan L'Heureux of Telus/Cambridge Electronics Incorporated says. "The Telus Virtual Assistant allows our customers to get their basic questions answered quickly, any time of the day, with no wait. The more customers use the Telus Virtual Assistant to get their questions answered, the more time our frontline reps have to help customers with more complex needs."
The chatbot itself is also programmed to learn more about its customers in order to better help with their needs. Information is added to it every day, on top of the bot's capability of assisting with account details, Easy Roam add-ons, data top-up, and much more. For customers who need something done or quickly, or don't have the time to come to the store to get a quick question answered, L'Heureux says, the Virtual Assistant is perfect for helping customers get what they need done efficiently.
Telus/Cambridge Electronics Incorporated employs about a dozen Telus specialists from all over the Fort Saskatchewan area. They consider themselves as professional geeks and problem solvers. They are highly trained to help customers, whether they need help with personal electronics or business owners who use Telus products. They are dedicated to helping customers find the right kinds of devices and accessories they need, and to teaching them how to get the most out of their devices. Along with all of their expertise with personal communication devices, they also specialize in Telus TV and Internet.
"Here at Telus Fort Saskatchewan, our mission is to provide the best customer service in the area," L'Heureux states. "We can answer any questions you might have about your device or service, and we'll take the time to walk you through your device and get the most out of it. The new Telus Virtual Assistant is another great addition to our superior customer service."
With the holidays coming soon, L'Heureux says his staff is ready and eager to help customers. New devices are being released in the fall in time for holiday gifts, and his Telus specialists have learned them all inside and out to answer any questions in their store. He also adds that customers should come in and learn more about the store's Bring It Back program. The program is aimed at Telus customers about to renew their phone contracts. They can bring in their old phone and get cash off the price of a new phone.
"The Virtual Assistant has already proven to be a useful tool for our customers to get simple problems solved and questions answered quickly and easily," L'Heureux says. "But for the bigger, more complex problems, please don't hesitate to come in and talk to one of our associates. We hire local staff and are dedicated to making sure you're not wasting time on hold on the phone or going in circles not getting your questions answered correctly. We're open 7 days a week to help better serve our community."
As a certified Telus dealer, Cambridge Electronics Incorporated is also dedicated to their customers' privacy and security. On their website, they lay out their practices for securing users' data as well as ensuring their privacy is maintained. They are dedicated to educating the public on smartphone use, and have even partnered with the Canadian Centre for Child Protection to educate all Canadians on safe cellular phone use.
For customers wanting to learn more about the services Cambridge Electronics offers, or would like to come into the store to get their questions answered, the Telus Fort Saskatchewan hours are 9am to 8pm Monday through Friday, 9:30am to 6pm on Saturday, and 11am to 5pm on Sunday. "Come in any day of the week," Dan L'Heureux says. "We look forward to helping you."
We’re a team of about a dozen Telus Specialists, professional problem solvers, tinkerers, and all around geeks, working around the clock to make Cambridge Electronics Incorporated the best Telus Service Provider in the universe.
