God's Motivations Launches Campaign To Help Make A Mother’s Day

Gods Motivations is a Christian book store and evangelic community that helps to spread the gospel around the world. One way in which they achieve that is by sharing daily motivations from the Bible. They have now launched a campaign to make a mother's day, encouraging children to share their love of Christ and the Lord with their mothers.

A representative from God's Motivations says: "The mother is perhaps the most important figure in family life. Many women look for inspiration for motherhood in the Mary, the mother of Jesus, as well as in the many other Bible verses that place the mother as central to life. We encourage everyone, young or old, to take the time every day to send some of the Lord's motivation to their mothers and make their day."

Numerous Bible quotes exist to motivate mothers in particular. God's Motivations has shared many of those on their Instagram account and Facebook page. The nonprofit organization aims to use social media to spread the gospel around the world and they believe that showing love and appreciation to mothers can equally be done through social media.

The representative continues: "Corinthians 13:4-7: 'Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.' It is reasonable to assume that a mother would want to hear that from her child."

Indeed, the Bible makes many references to the role of the mother, to the appreciation children should show their parents, and to how parents must guide their children on the path of the gospel. For God's Motivations, cherishing and honoring a mother every day is akin to being a step closer to the Lord. The representative says: "Honor thy father and thy mother, as it is said many times in the Bible. But give your mother that little bit of extra love and make her day."
