Aswell Trophy, an Oxnard trophies and awards company, is celebrating the retirement of Maria Sabido. Maria retired on Friday, January 26, 2018 after having served for 26 years in the company. She will be greatly missed and the company wishes her well on her retirement.

Trevor Ashton from Aswell Trophy says: "She retired on Friday January 26 after 26 years. She was in our production department. She assembled our plaques, shadow boxes, acrylic awards and nametags. We had a dinner after work on Friday with her coworkers and loved ones. She will be greatly missed here. Whenever we had a special project to handle, we would give it to Maria because she could figure it out. How to mount the items and lay them out in a beautiful design."
