The Medical Director of Olympus Stem Cells, Associate Professor Russell Vickers, has published extensively on the use of stem cells in facial and nerve anomalies. He has also conducted ground breaking research and patented the use of Zinc Thymulin for hair regeneration and he has published an article about this in The Journal of Hair Therapy and Transplantation in 2017. He is now undertaking clinical treatment of patients desiring aesthetic facial rejuvenation in both males and females.
He explains: "Stem Cells are extracted from abdominal wall fat following a mini liposuction procedure. The procedure is conducted under local anaesthesia and stem cells extracted following aspiration of 20-40cc's of fat. The cells and stromal vascular fraction are then injected into the face, neck, orbit and associated wrinkles."
As shown on http://www.olympushealthgroup.com.au, Olympus Stem Cells Pty Ltd undertake this ground breaking treatment in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. They also announced that the surgery is day stay only.
