Amazon has released a new API for advertising, which provides additional features that ManageByStats will take advantage of in its new advertising features. An API is an Application Program Interface, a tool for developers provided by software makers to allow access to specific features within their program. Amazon provides this ads API for access to its advertising components. ManageByStats is a suite of software tools that provides management solutions for Amazon sellers. Currently ManageByStats provides basic ads info for its users, collecting ad spend and other info from Amazon. With the addition of the new Amazon API ManageByStats will release several new tools that allow Amazon sellers more granular control of their Amazon ads.
“As far as we knew Amazon was not planning to release this so soon,” says CEO of ManageByStats, Philip Jepsen. “But this is great news. We’ve been developing some great new tools for Sponsored Ads and PPC management, and our users were going to need to migrate to this new API for those anyway. This just accelerates our timetable.”
Current users of ManageByStats can upgrade to the new API now, directly in the Marketing Performance Graphs section of the program. Instructions there for adding access to the new API can be followed in a matter of a few minutes. Once added the new API will update all current Ads and PPC costs, and will then be available to the system for use with the upcoming tools. It does not need to be added again.
“Doing the upgrade now will bring all data up to date,” says Mr. Jepsen. “And with the API added it won’t need to be added again. Our users will be read for the new tools when we release them, which is coming very soon.”
The new Amazon API is available and can be added to ManageByStats now. For more details, or for info on the program itself, please visit the company’s website. If interested parties have further questions, ManageByStats may be contacted directly by email.
ManageByStats.com is a software platform built by Amazon Sellers, for Amazon Sellers, to provide functions not provided well by Amazon or other services, including product sales performance graphs displayed by Brand, Product Line and individual Products.
