New SKU Selector Added To ManageByStats Amazon Seller Tools

Today Philip Jepsen, CEO of ManageByStats, makers of software tools for Amazon sellers, announced a new SKU selector for their program. The SKU selector is used in many sections of the program, anywhere users need to select products from a list. SKU stands for Stock Keeping Unit, and is another way to notate a product. Users of ManageByStats sell their products on Amazon, so they also have what is called an ASIN, which is an Amazon-specific identifier. The terms ASIN, SKU and product can be used interchangeably for purposes of function.

“The new SKU selector cleans up the old one and adds some new features,” says Mr. Jepsen. “It makes it more intuitive to use. SKU selection is part of several of the tools, from report generation to email creation, and we thought it was time for an update.”

Users of ManageByStats are able to connect and manage multiple Amazon shops, along with their entire selection of SKUs. At points in various tools, where selections are made, a SKU selector is provided. Color coded icons now more clearly represent groupings, from brand to product line to individual product. A selected items box now serves to group and more clearly show the items that have been selected.

“This was really a matter of incremental improvements to the usability of the interface,” says Mr. Jepsen. “Our existing selector worked fine, but the new interface makes it much easier to see what’s been selected -- an important update for those users with dozen, hundreds or even thousands of SKUs.”
