Massey, Stotser & Nichols, PC, based in Birmingham, AL, is proud to announce that they recently represented the company whose independent film "I'm Not Ashamed" has been nominated for the Inspirational Film of the Year award at the 48th GMA Dove Awards. The said film, which was directed by Brian Baugh, is among five that have been nominated for the category.

The Big Film Factory wants to focus on those movies that Hollywood isn't interested in, which are family friendly productions. Their marketing approach is unique, in which well-known film and music artists are brought together. In so doing, the production company creates an instant demand. To date, the company has produced six different feature films. Three of those were sold and released and the other three are currently in post-production. Following this strategy, a new film can be produced every 40 to 75 days.
The GMA Dove Awards have been held since 1970. The aim of these awards is to honor excellence and outstanding achievements in Christian Music. In the Inspirational Film of the Year award category, I'm Not Ashamed is joined by Ben-Hur, directed by Timur Bekmambetov; Priceless, directed by Ben Smallbone; The Case for Christ, directed by Jon Gunn; and The Shack, directed by Stuart Hazeldine.
Attorney Rick Stotser, meanwhile, is the son of a United States Army General, and he was born in Augsburg, Germany. He married his wife Debbie in 1990, with whom he had two sons. He says: "I have been a resident of Trussville, AL, for many years and I am a member of Faith Community Fellowship. This is what initially got me interested in I'm Not Ashamed, and I'm so glad to have had the opportunity to work with them, and to see them nominated for this impressive award. I am convinced they will win it."
