The National Veterans Opportunity Coalition (TNVOC) announced its 2017 TNVOC Community Partner of the Year, “The Institute for Supply Management (ISM)”, represented by Rainey A. Alben, Director of Diversity. Ron Williams, Service-Disabled Veteran – U.S. Air Force, and President of TNVOC, stated, “The Awards Selection body looked at organizations and individuals that had a proven and sustained track record of supporting Veteran Owned Businesses, and other diverse businesses.

Headquartered in Los Angeles, California, TNVOC is the pre-eminent National Veteran Business Service organization that “actively” supports Veteran Owned Businesses (VOBs). TNVOC has over 10,000 Searchable Veteran Owned Businesses (VOBs) in its portal, and sends out an average of over 2,500 Procurement Opportunities on a daily basis. TNVOC’s dynamic virtual business environment allows for interactive relationship building, which is critical for growth.

Ben Fatola, TNVOC Vice President stated, “The Institute for Supply Management (ISM) has been a tremendous supporter to our organization. Rainey A. Alben, ISM’s Director of Diversity provided us valuable feedback regarding our programs. With the partnership support from ISM, we are looking forward to an exceptional Business Matchmaker and Procurement Fair in October 2017, where attendees can leave the event with “on-the-spot” contracts and purchase orders. Corporations and buying agencies across the country now have an organization in TNVOC where they can truly get the “real-time” support they need to source Veteran Owned Businesses (VOBs). We at TNVOC, recognize that our job does not end once a Corporation becomes a member of our portal. We are in a unique position to help corporations make direct business contact with VOBs and facilitate the development of strategic alliances and relationship building, all within our portal.”

Ron Williams emphasized, “TNVOC’s online portal is more than just a database of Veteran Owned Businesses. It’s different from any other portal. Our systems empower VOBs with the latest technology, to not only discover corporate and government procurement opportunities as soon as they are released, but also has an interactive environment within the portal to communicate with agencies as well as other VOBs. Veteran business owners can search for local and national business procurement opportunities available specifically for Veterans. Instant daily or weekly email notifications are also sent as soon as a Corporate and/or Government RFP are released. The date for the October Business Matchmaker and Procurement Fair will soon be announced.”
