Scottsdale Community Partners, based in Scottsdale, AZ, has announced the election of a new vice president for the nonprofit organization. Maddie Murphy Larkin has agreed to a one-year term for the position. The VP will be responsible for implementing the various programs of the organization, driving them forward for the benefit of the community.

Jenny Adams, Executive Director of Scottsdale Community Partners, says: "The Vice President is to hold a leadership position, engage with the organization, prepare for potentially taking over the presidency after Holly Snopko, discuss ideas with myself, and work on such projects as updating the articles of incorporation and help with marketing. We are very happy that Maddie has agreed to take on the position."

The nonprofit organization is committed to eradicating hunger and homelessness in the City of Scottsdale. To achieve this, they have partnered with the city authorities, helping through a variety of programs that aim to tackle the most important social issues relating to hunger and homelessness. The Scottsdale Community Partners programs include those for the youth, for families, and for seniors. Thus, they want to inform people that they are always in need of more volunteers to help with these programs.

Maddie Murphy Larkin says: "I am very happy to take on the position of VP. It should be noted that we are all one crisis away from needing a little help. Whether it's the loss of a job or a family tragedy that results in people falling behind on their mortgage payments or not being able to put food on the table, at Scottsdale Community Partners, we are committed to easing the burden of people in these terrifying circumstances. Being able to participate in this fills me with pride."

The nonprofit was previously known as Concerned Citizens for Community Health. Its mission is to work in partnership with city officials, communities, and residents to help those who are facing difficult situations for whatever reason, supporting them to get back on their feet. In so doing, they enable community members to remain prosperous and confident, and live with a sense of peace. With the addition of Larkin at its helm, the organization can continue to make great strides towards achieving their goals.
