Houston, Texas: Sonjia “Lioness” Mackey, founder and CEO of the Houston-based “Bucket List Beasts,” will host 13 bold, courageous women as they arrive at the Hartsfield–Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia on June 20, 2017 to board a flight for a 10-day international “Mystery Trip.”
The mission of Bucket List Beasts is to take new and seasoned travelers with a spirit of adventure to bucket-list destinations around the world for unique and off-the-beaten-path experiences. The “Mystery Trip” is the company’s “signature” annual trip, amongst several different trips hosted each year. Guests find out the mystery destination only after arriving at the airport with luggage and passports in hand.
According to Mackey, “The trips are particularly exciting because none of the guests have traveled to the selected destinations before, so everyone embarks on a new adventure to explore a new country and immerse themselves in a new culture!” Past “Mystery Trips” have included comical and unforgettable moments posing in front of the camera in the Salt Flats of Bolivia to appreciating the culture, history, and workmanship of the Moai statues on Easter Island in Chile.
Trips hosted by Bucket List Beasts are designed to help people: remove mental blocks and barriers, step outside their comfort zones, overcome their fears and self-limitations, and check adventures and destinations off their bucket lists.
