The Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy (CRSMT) in Samara, Nicoya, Costa Rica, has announced that they have launched the Motion Mechanic Sports Therapy Certificate Program. This sports therapy continuing education class started on May 8th and will end on May 29th, 2017.

To date, students have been very happy about what they have been learning."Our new Motion Mechanics continuing education course runs concurrently with another continuing education course, our Asian Modalities Certificate Program," according to Tammy McGee, Director of Admissions at CRSMT. "We're very happy to see some past students and new students alike in this course."

The 100 hour sports massage therapy course is taught by Chris Nissler of Denver, CO. Chris' expertise is in musculoskeletal reconditioning for athletes, which has to do with the evaluation, treatment and conditioning of movement deficiencies and both acute and chronic injuries. His patients include athletes from the NFL, NBA and NHL, as well as Olympians and professional Mixed Martial Arts fighters. While Chris works with all kinds of patients, he wants to focus on those who have a sport or activity; whether recreationally or competitively. Full details about his work are available at http://www.calibratesports.com.

Those who have been to the CRSMT have been full of praise about their experiences, what they have learned, how they learned it, and the impact this has had on their career. Additionally, past instructors have praised the school for its work and its students. For instance, Matthew H. says on the school's Facebook page: "As a visiting instructor the experience was wonderful. The students showed amazing passion and commitment to each class. The grounds were very well kept and the open-air classrooms are beautiful. Bite size classroom sessions give the students and teachers time to digest each lesson. I look forward to my next opportunity to share my knowledge and passion with the next generation of massage professionals."

The school is committed to ensuring massage therapists can become the best they can be, learning in a beautiful, comfortable environment surrounded by nature while taking part in the high intensity programs that the school delivers. The massage therapy class of 2017 has recently graduated, which happens to be the biggest so far.
