Debby McKinney Announces Emerald Coast Women In Business Meetup

The Emerald Coast Women in Business (ECWIB) has announced the date of their meetup, which will be on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. The meeting will take place at The Breakfast Table Cafe, 385 Harbor Blvd, Destin, FL. Sponsors include Dawn Guidrey of Fifth Avenue Pets; Tiffany Merrell of Campus Cafe; and Mila Busch of argenta saponica LLC, "the Natural Handmade Soap lady". ECWIB Connections is a free monthly event where women can not just network but also connect with one another in an informal setting to enrich each other's business and professional lives. People are encouraged to bring door prizes so that they can showcase their business at the same time.

The event will include Facilitated Networking Activities, which have received great feedback from participants in the past. Fun, finger foods, and door prizes will all be included. Attendees are encouraged to bring a friend, co-worker, or fellow entrepreneur to further increase networking and connections opportunities.

Coordinated by Debbie Dodge, Kay Leaman, and Debby McKinney, the event is suitable for all women. These include business women, entrepreneurs, those in the nonprofit sector, those looking for work, and so on. It is not an industry exclusive event, but rather an industry inclusive one, so all are encouraged to attend. There is no membership fee or obligation to attend, allowing women to come when their schedules allow. RSVPs are recommended, though not required.

The event takes place on a monthly basis, with rotating venues. Host will typically be a women owned or managed business in the Destin/Miramar Beach/Bluewater Bay areas, or a business that would benefit women. Each event is co-sponsored by three women, who will receive additional exposure on flyers and social media, the chance to speak at the event, and the opportunity to have a small table at the event.
