Charlotte, NC company Medicare For Her aims to lift the veil on the confusion that some people have about Medicare health insurance by answering questions posed by women. They are proud to announce the release of their latest episode, "What Is Medicare - Basics on Eligibility, Coverage, Benefits & Plans", which is available on YouTube at https://youtu.be/xJU03CA3Oas.

Medicare For Her's Tripp Jordan says: "In this episode, we explain the basic features of Medicare. This is in answer to the question posed by Judy from Oakridge, and we want to start by thanking her for taking the time to actually pose such an important question. Sometimes, we are so keen on describing certain elements of Medicare, that we forget about the basics."

In the episode, which is also available on Medicare For Her's website at http://www.medicareforher.com/what-is-medicare/, Jordan explains that the original Medicare is health insurance for individuals over the age of 65, for people under the age 65 with certain disabilities, and for those of any age if they have end stage renal disease. Most commonly, it is for those over the age of 65, who have got to enroll in traditional or original Medicare. The time frame is three months prior to turning 65; the month that they are turning 65, and then the three months after. This means people have seven months in total to enroll in original or traditional Medicare.

Tripp Jordan adds: "Medicare Part A actually covers hospitals and skilled nursing. And Part B covers doctor visits and diagnostic tests, and other such issues. So, those who have got Part A and Part B Medicare will receive help to cover costs, but not all of the costs are covered. Traditional Medicare covers 80% of Medicare's Part A and Part B. What conduct a workshop to ensure people know how they can cover the 20% that they have been left with."

People are encouraged to like the company's Facebook page on https://www.facebook.com/medicareforher, so that they can join in the conversation, or ask their own questions that may be covered in an upcoming episode.
