Morph Pillow Announces Launch of Flagship Product in the Amazon Marketplace

Morph Pillow, a Utah based company known for inventing the most compact memory foam travel pillow, has announced the launch of their flagship product on the Amazon marketplace.

The product is their rounded air travel pillow which compresses into a carrying case the size of a Major League Baseball.

Designed by Morph founder, Brian Parker, the pillow can be used for airplane travel, train travel, commuting and power naps at work or school. In fact, Parker invented the pillow while a student at BYU. He wanted a quick power nap in the university library during final exam week and he was never able to get comfortable with his head in his arms on a desk. Once finals were over, Parker dedicated his summer to inventing the pillow he wished he had then.

The pillow is round in shape with flat bottom and a flat top. It is made of memory foam and has a cover that can be unzipped, removed and washed. The nylon case makes it very easy to transport. The neck pillow fits inside a purse or carry-on and can be tied to a backpack as well. It weighs only 4 ounces.

Parker said of the launch, “We used the funds from the Kickstarter campaign to perfect the pillow and get the first order ready for sale before Black Friday and Christmas. We chose the Amazon platform because it’s so accessible and college students get free Prime membership for 6 months.”

Parker went on to say that college students are an overlooked market for the travel pillow and yet between flying back and forth to school, commuting and the often much needed power nap they are the perfect travel pillow customer.

While researching design ideas, Parker made a point of studying the good, the bad and the ugly of other air travel pillows on the market. He found that customers prized comfort most and consistently bemoaned the fact that their pillows were so bulky and difficult to transport. Parker explained, “The most compact pillows were the inflatable ones, but the common complaint was that it didn’t hold its shape. That is when I knew we had to find a way to make the pillow from memory foam and still make it the most compact travel pillow on the market.”
