Identifying a mounting concern that presidential candidate Donald J. Trump is attempting to discourage women from coming forward with allegations against him of sexual assault by threats of litigation, Jerrold S. Parker, founding partner of Parker Waichman LLP, one of the nation’s leading personal injury law firms, is offering each woman a legal defense pro bono - without the expense of attorney’s fees.

“I’ve made it my life’s work to protect victims, and these women, if the allegations of prior sexual assault are true, are once again being victimized,” said Parker. “They are being victimized by threats of being sued for coming forward; they have been seen as being bullied and I cannot tolerate bullies,” Parker added. Parker was motivated to act after hearing Trump’s statement that “All of these liars will be sued after the election is over” and the fear that this might discourage certain victims from coming forward with truthful allegations concerning Trump. The firm will first vet the truthfulness of the allegations and then review any actions taken against these women, providing them with free legal advice and a legal defense without the expense of attorney fees. “This is America and who’s right or wrong shouldn’t have to depend on who’s got the most money or the biggest mouth. If the law does nothing else in this country, it levels the playing field. Everyone is equal in the courtroom, so long as they have good legal counsel. We’ll provide that counsel and we’ll do it pro bono - at no charge to these victims of alleged sexual abuse.” Parker finalized his comments by observing that “how much money our adversary has matters little to us. It’s the justice of the cause for our clients which motivates us and that’s especially true here.”
