A newly launched YouTube video outlines the differences in planning for college versus funding advanced studies. The Introduction to HIFE College Planning Program 501(C)(3) National Nonprofit can now be viewed on YouTube and offers information about the program and its benefits to students and businesses.
"Financial stability is crucial for students," says Walter Anderson, financial literacy advocate. "It is the foundation of our society, and something that everyone should learn and implement throughout their lives."
College planning is discussed in the video, and the organization helps to guide parents and the students through the process of preparing for college as well as selecting funding processes. Anderson states that many consumers do not realize the vast differences in planning and funding a college education, and that while there are a number of funding options available, not all parents and students are aware that many of these options exist. The programs offered by the organization help students and parents better prepare for a successful college career by outlining the differences in planning and funding and offering insights into financial preparation for school through grants, student loans, scholarships, and other means of taking care of education costs.
The HIFE College Planning Program helps students and parents to fully prepare and plan for college with student assessments. These assessments include career exploration, which enables the student to determine if their chosen degree is a good fit for them. The program recommends that students interview someone in the career that they are considering to find out the pros and cons of those positions.
"Career guidance is an integral part of the process," says Anderson. "Students may grow up saying they want to be a doctor but in actuality, perhaps this is the farthest thing from what they truly want to do."
Anderson states that exploring career choices and obtaining guidance in choosing the right career fit can help to eliminate a number of college drop-out rates. Taking time when selecting a college is another way that students can ensure they are going to "tough it out" during their college years.
Those interested in learning more about the organization can take a look at the YouTube video which is currently available online. If you wish to enroll into the HIFE College Planning- please contact Walter Anderson.
