The Costa Rica School Of Massage Therapy has announced recently that their Fall 2016 class has engaged in some extra-curricular activities. As part of those activities, the massage therapy students provided free massages to their local community.

Tess McGrath, Director of Operations for Costa Rica School Of Massage Therapy, says, "Our Mariposa 2016 class of massage therapists has had a busy month. With the first quarter of classes finished, and a 100 percent pass rate in the final exams for Anatomy & Physiology and Western Techniques I, this group is proving that they are serious students."

On September 5th, McGrath surprised the students with a kayak and snorkeling tour to the white sand beach of Isla Chora in Samara Bay. The current class of massage therapy students, who can be seen at https://crsmt.com/3877-2/, participated in a discussion and guided meditation. The subject of the meditation was letting go of fear to create space for success. Some of the students had never ocean kayaked before and, thus, this activity helped them conquer their fears.

"We were thrilled to be able to offer them a day of relaxation and fun," says McGrath. "They have been an amazing class and have worked so hard to get through these courses successfully. We invite anyone interested to see highlights of the day's events. Just like us on Facebook and you can view these and many other photos of our classes."

The Costa Rica School Of Massage Therapy provides a study abroad program for massage therapy certification. Graduates of the program receive instruction from qualified and experienced world-class instructors and gain qualifications needed to legally practice the art of massage therapy in the United States and other areas around the world.

The program is specifically designed to assist students in preparing for the United States National Licensure Exam. The school is NCBTMB assigned and recognized as a provider of Board Certified education. McGrath states that the day of community massages was designed to give students a bit of onsite experience by working with individuals not associated with the school itself. More about CRSMT can be seen on the school's official website at https://crsmt.com.
