Award Crafters, Inc. in Chantilly, Virginia, has announced that they have reached two milestones. The business opened in 1964, making this year their 52nd year in operation, a feat that they state is one to be proud of. Jim Munden with Award Crafters says, "Not only are we celebrating our 52nd year in the industry, but this also marks our 20th year of being online."
The company launched their official online presence in 1996, a milestone that many companies have not yet reached. Munden says that most companies, particularly those in the awards industry, have been on the internet for less than 10 years. He says that the fact that they have had a website for 20 years shows just how dedicated they are to their business and their customers.
The company provides a number of Awards Washington DC residents are looking for, including those for government, corporate, and trade associations. They offer an array of customer awards, recognition, and signage, as well as emblematic jewelry for a number of purposes.
"We're proud to be a SWaM certified woman owned business, as well as a GSA approved government vendor," says Munden.
The company has provided award products to a number of important customers in the past including the Office of the President of the United States, the US Marine Corps, the Department of Homeland Security, the National Association of Home Builders, and the National Rifle Association, among others. Munden says that the company also proudly partners with the US Marine Corps and the Embassy Security Guards.
The company offers an assortment of plaques as well as various promotional items such as baseball caps, pins, coffee mugs, and others. Munden says that their wide selection is one reason that they have been in business for so long, and likely what will keep them going for another 50 years or so.
