New Jersey Drug And Alcohol Rehab Center Offers Kosher Recovery Program

Behavioral Crossroads is a Jewish owned New Jersey state licensed drug and alcohol rehab center with two locations in New Jersey. The facility has announced that as they strive to provide clients and their families within the Jewish community the treatment and support they need, they are offering kosher recovery services.

A spokesperson for the facility states, "Our goal is to provide support for those in need of drug and alcohol recovery, as well as to educate our community on the dangers of addiction and its prevention."

Behavioral Crossroads is set on a five acre estate and offers separate housing for male and female patients, for up to 90 days during rehabilitation. The facility links clients to outpatient treatments that can include partial or intensive outpatient programs. The facility spokesperson states that they have a fully stocked kosher kitchen onsite as well as fitness programming and a shul to make their clients feel more at home and more at ease.

Campus spiritual advisor Rabbi Avi Richler states that he is readily available for all clients. "We want them to feel as if they can come to us at any time," says the Rabbi. He states that he feels clients appreciate the kosher recovery that the facility offers and he hopes that it encourages them to seek to better their lives.

The facility provides kosher and Sabbath meals as well as observance of the Sabbath. Cultural competency training of all staff is provided by an Orthodox Rabbi to ensure that Jewish clients receive the one on one support that they need. Observance of all Jewish holidays is also provided to clients in treatment.

The facility urges those of Jewish faith who are battling addiction to contact them to schedule a tour of the estate. The Rabbi states that someone is always available to answer any questions and help with any needs, and that the goal of the facility is to provide the counseling and care needed to help clients to seek the road to recovery.
