BeVisible Sports Releases New Sizes Of Plantar Fasciitis Socks

San Francisco, California based BeVisible Sports has announced the launch of new sizes in their line of Plantar Fasciitis Sock. The socks are currently available in only small, medium, or large. Based on popular, demand however, an extra-large sized version of the socks will be launched in June this year. The company says that this new size has been the direct result of interaction with their customers.

According to a recent report nearly two million people in the United States currently suffer from plantar fasciitis. The condition affects the ligament, or the plantar fascia, that connects the heel bone to the toes. It typically supports the foot's arch. Active adults or those who stand for long periods of time due to work or other activities, are typically the ones most affected from this condition.

"In plantar fasciitis, the ligament that supports the foot's arch is strained," says Sandy B. from BeVisible Sports. "Repeatedly straining this ligament can cause small tears which will ultimately lead to painful swelling, which results in the condition that we know as plantar fasciitis."
