In addition, she is a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the Women's Dermatology Society, the Texas Dermatological Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association, and the Fort Bend Medical Society.

Pamela Carr believes that her extensive education in dermatology has prepared her for the technical side of her field, while her involvement in local communities and with patients has prepared her for the human side of the industry.
