Buena Park, CA –- LD Hardas and his chemical cleaning company, Awesome Products, Inc., are becoming recognized names in West Memphis. Hardas announced a massive expansion of the company’s West Memphis plant, after procuring large silos from a Missouri dairy farm. Plans called for using the silos to add an expanded production sector to the plant, allowing for high-volume distribution of the Awesome Products line.
Those plans are now a reality, with the plant no longer under construction. The plant is fully operational and online thanks to the new addition. Through the expansion, LD Hardas and his company hope to leave a positive mark on the West Memphis community, with available production jobs and easy access to some of the industry’s top household cleaning products. One thing is for sure: West Memphis and Awesome Products are getting to know each other.
With the expanded local presence comes heightened curiosity about Mr. Hardas and his background. Born to two doctors in Nagpur, India, Hardas immigrated to the United States at a young age and with big dreams. Hardas realized a passion for science, pursuing his Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering not long before starting his own company. According to him, he never planned to fall in love with chemicals, but did so because back in India the choice was either chemical engineering or medical school. Hardas chose the former.
A born inventor, Hardas built Awesome Products, Inc. from the ground up. With no other partners, he put his chemical knowledge to the test in developing a line of home cleaning products that was innovative, high-quality, and competitively priced. The rest was history, as Awesome Products, Inc. soon shot to success.
The company currently offers an inventory of 160 chemical products, with 40 additional products in development. Expansion of the West Memphis headquarters allows Hardas to continue his company’s unmatched growth. Frequently working with companies like Dollar Tree, Wal-Mart, Sears, and Big Lots, just to name a few, it is no surprise that the addition and expansion of Awesome Products is big news for the West Memphis community.
Hardas bases his success on a positive attitude driven by helping others. “Try to do good things every day. If it is a good thing, you can afford it," says Hardas. The entrepreneur is excited about the potential that the West Memphis area can bring to his company, and also has advice for burgeoning business owners in the area: “Be a creator, make small goals, achieve them. Learn to accept mistakes – it makes success more sustainable."
