Women's Business Enterprise Council West (WBEC-WEST) is excited to announce the official launch of their progressive new service to help WBENC certified women to connect with C-Suite, executive level and other women business owners.
WBE2WBE Connection Corner promises to assist enterprising certified women to do business with each other.
So how does being certified help women build B2B connections?
It's no secret that women-owned businesses buy the same products and services that federal agencies and small and large businesses purchase. This essentially means that a certified women owned business can market, sell and buy from other certified women owned businesses.
The WBE2WBE Connection Corner is a service set up to do just that - facilitate certified women-owned businesses to buy and sell from each other.
This service allows WBE's to display their Capability Statements and current buying and selling requirements openly and publicly to all women at the 12th Annual WBEC-WEST Procurement Opportunity Conference & Awards Dinner, on September 15-17, 2015 at the Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara, California, and serves as an excellent free marketing and promotion service for women-owned businesses.
"The WBE2WBE Connection Corner will be broken out by industries that will be color coordinated for easy identification. It will be open every day of the conference and I encourage as many women as possible to actively participate," stated Dr. Pamela Williamson, President of WBEC-WEST.
As an added bonus, successful WBE's will speak about the benefits of B2B and share success stories and tips at the Connection Corner. Armed with confidence women will be presented with a lapel by a WBEC-WEST staff member or volunteer to show their support in favor of WBE2WBE business.
Women registering for the conference are encouraged to keenly partake and contribute and play an active role to get the best results by bringing extra business cards, capability statement copies and clearly identifying their buying and selling requirements.
To conclude, women are encouraged to be open to working with other women through business matchmaking and other programs and most importantly not be afraid to network and mingle with other WBE’s as there might be a huge potential business opportunity that they may miss out on.
To create a network of informed, prepared, and engaged Women Business Enterprises and corporations through certification, education, and targeted networking events.
